Nevado Del Huila

Taking its name from Colombia's highest volcano, El Nevado del Huila is a communal lot sourced primarily from producers in the towns of Santa Maria and Pitalito in Northern and Southern Huila, respectively. Each small lot that comprises this coffee is graded, tasted and scored multiple times over by our exporting partners in Colombia before being selected as a final component of the blend. This is our third year to work with Nevado del Huila and we’ve found that this rigorous selection process ensures an elevated level of quality and consistency, highlighting the juicy and sweet character of coffees from this remarkable region. This season we find notes of stone and pome fruit with a caramelized sugar finish.
